It
was announced in July 2004 that a group of senior editorial staff at
Vivid, the women’s glossy fashion and lifestyle magazine, had quit the
title to set up
Content-Ed.
Former Deputy Editor Emma Meredith, Style & Fashion
Editor Axia Gaitskell-Kendrick and Beauty Editor Noella Mingo were
responsible for creating numerous beautiful pages over a four-year
period - not only under their own names but also under a list of
pseudonyms.
The October 2004 issue features 17 pages of editorial by
Gaitskell-Kendrick (writing as Cherry Gibson), Meredith and Mingo and is
the last issue in which the three were involved.
Using their considerable experience in the fields of
fashion & lifestyle publishing, youth marketing and brand development,
Content-Ed
is offering clients a bespoke service ranging from one-off magazine
features to finished magazine editorial and photographic content. ‘For
celebrity interviews, shoots, features, fashion and beauty, why bother
going through lists of untried freelancers when
Content-Ed
has it all under one roof?’ says Gaitskell-Kendrick. ‘We’re an
experienced team who’ve proved we know how to deliver and our contacts’
books are second to none,’ adds Meredith.
In addition,
Content-Ed
is continuing to work with some
of the UK’s major consumer brands on marketing communications.
Get the content
right and everyone’s happy.
